You looked when I was sad
And asked to help me out.
Confused as what you said to me,
I thought I'd just try doubt.
You didn't know what it was
Or why right then and there,
You looked about to slap me,
Said you wouldn't really care.
Wondering what would happen next,
I hid my head in shame.
For why you helped me then, I guess
I'd always do the same.
Still crying from the lack of life,
And breathing, cursed by soul,
I wanted to just sit and die,
Become as still as coal...
